2018 年，是新能源汽车元年。国内、外传统汽车品牌将陆续于 2018 ~ 2020 年间上市纯电汽车；除此之外，新能源汽车战场上还有一票扎根中国，跃跃欲试的新势力造车军团，期望在国内这片极具潜力的热土立足，威马汽车也是其中一员。4 月 20 日，威马汽车在北京召开了产品战略发布会。
